  Angel David Verde
Street Style

Street Style blogger and photographer Angel David Verde has been a respected name in the Southern fashion industry since launching his blog in 2010. Since then his work has been featured by numerous outlets including Lucky.com and The Huffington Post, he also covers street style and runway at New York Fashion Week each year. Angel is based in Virignia where he serves as the Street Style columnist for The Roanoke Times as well as the Fashion editor-at-large for The Roanoker Magazine.


  Ayoka Lucas
Behind the Style

Ayoka Lucas is an innovative stylist who has been in the business for more than fifteen years.  Lucas began her freelance career in Atlanta, styling a local nightlife columnist as well as other local celebrities. After relocating to Charleston, she wrote a weekly social column for the Charleston City Paper, incorporating fashion, pop culture, and local happenings. As the style director-at-large for two regional publications, Charleston Magazine and Charleston Weddings Magazine, Ayoka contributes to the fashion spreads, Style Files, home décor features, bridal style tips, street style pages and more. As the style director and visionary behind Charleston Fashion Week, now in it’s 8th year, she has contributed to the success of spotlighting the local fashion community and the city as a premier shopping and style destination. She currently is the founder of the recently launched StylePublic.com, defined as a culture club with public access to style exclusives narrated by global 'cool kids', trendspotters and style insiders.

Hunter Boone
Charleston Grit Video Confessionals

Hunter Boone is the Senior Commercial Producer at WTAT Fox-24 in Charleston & Co-Founder of StylePublic with Ayoka Lucas. He is also a Frank and Oak Menswear Ambassador.

He's an active contributor to Nerdist News, Charleston Magazine and loves long-distance running and breakfast.

He has also worked for NBC, Fox, CBS, Comedy Central, Adult Swim, FX, Showtime, AMC, & Lifetime and is freelance journalist for Sony Music, Interscope Records, & Sub Pop.

Jonathan Balliet
Backstage Pass

Jonathan Balliet a lover of nature, form and everything disco is a Charleston native who notes his love for art and music as the foundation to make his photography stronger. Growing-up studying the cello, he attributes to giving his eye an edge, specifically an attention-to-detail that most overlook. Using instinct, he directs his subjects and creates atmosphere with style while staying true to the moment- a good photograph must emote. His work can be seen in Quest Magazine, Charleston Magazine, House Calls, Skirt, Lucky Mag, Charlie Mag, and Art Mag. He is one of the exclusive backstage photographers of Charleston Fashion Week and has shot look books for the past three winning Emerging Designers. Recent look book campaigns include, Out of Hand and Swoon, who will be featured on the runway this year at CFW. He's also expanded his visual eye candy as a contributing photographer to the Charleston Shop Curator.
