Lives: Charleston, SC
Résumé: Andrea Serrano’s vast experience in fashion encompasses styling, retail, and working in the film industry. Prior to moving to Charleston 10 years ago, she worked in New York as a Fashion Stylist working on major advertising campaigns, magazine editorials, and celebrity styling. Drawn to the charm of the south, family, and an opportunity to open a boutique with her husband Gustavo, Charleston became her new home.
Andrea and Gustavo were the proud owners of the street wear boutique B’zar on Upper King and then Suite Sole, a sneaker boutique on Spring Street. After 5 years in retail Andrea gained experience in the film industry as the Costume Shopper for Army Wives. She eventually transitioned back to freelance styling and launched her fashion blog Charleston Shop Curator in March 2013.
Clients: She has worked with national brands such as Refinery 29, Williams Sonoma, Macy's, QVC, Maybelline, Sony Records, in addition to magazines such as Maxim, The Fader, South magazine & Charleston magazine.
